LOVE’S LABOUR’S WON – Royal Shakespeare Company

NR  |  2 hours 50 minutes

Shakespeare’s comic romance LOVE’S LABOUR’S WON plays out amidst the brittle high spirits of a post-war house party, as youthful passions run riot, lovers are deceived, and happiness is threatened – before peace ultimately wins the day. Better known as Much Ado About Nothing, the play is performed under the title Love’s Labour’s Won, a name possibly given to it during Shakespeare’s lifetime. Christopher Luscombe directs the second of Shakespeare’s matching pair of comedies that rejoice in our capacity to find love in the most unlikely places.

TITUS ANDRONICUS – Shakespeare’s Globe on Screen

NR  |  2 hours 30 minutes

Grotesquely violent and daringly experimental, Titus was the smash hit of Shakespeare’s early career, and is written with a ghoulish energy he was never to repeat elsewhere. This production caused a stir in the UK media with staged violence so realistic that throughout its run the play had audiences on the edges of their seats from start to grisly end.

PLANETARY

NR  |  1 hour 25 minutes

We are in the midst of a global crisis of perspective. We have forgotten the undeniable truth that everything is connected. PLANETARY is a provocative and breathtaking wakeup call, a cross continental, cinematic journey, that explores our cosmic origins and our future as a species. PLANETARY is a poetic and humbling reminder that it’s time to shift our perspective. PLANETARY asks us to rethink who we really are, to reconsider our relationship with ourselves, each other and the world around us – to remember that: we are PLANETARY.
